Claims
Had a loss? Call us first.
A claim begins on a bad day. Before you call an insurer's call centre, call us: 416-255-3728. Part of a broker's job — the part that matters most — is standing on your side of a claim: explaining what your policy says, helping you present the loss properly, and following up while it's resolved.

In the first hour
- Make sure everyone is safe. For emergencies, call 911 first — always.
- Prevent further damage where you safely can (shut off the water, secure the property). Reasonable steps to protect your property are expected.
- Document before you clean up: photos and video of the damage, and a list of what's affected.
- Don't discard damaged items or start permanent repairs until the insurer has had a chance to assess — temporary safety fixes are fine.
- Call us at 416-255-3728 (Mon–Fri, 9–5). Outside those hours, take the steps above and call us the next business day — or, if your policy documents list a 24-hour claims line, use it and tell us as soon as you can.
What we do next
We open the claim with your insurer, explain the process and what to expect, and stay on the file with you until it's settled.
